My name is Michael Proudfit, amateur photographer. One day I hope to be an advanced amateur photographer. That dream is ever more forthcoming in this digital age. Digital cameras, like my own, in the upper left corner, afford hobbyists and professionals alike the freedom to create, without the time or costs associated with conventional processing. The myriad of graphic editing programs available bring the darkroom to the home computer and better inkjet printers allow the photographer to furnish their walls with the fruit of their imagination.
